employer brand event

Last Friday, GRS Recruitment had the pleasure of co-hosting an insightful and engaging business event with Buzz Dealer. The event, focused on employer branding, attracted a dynamic crowd of business leaders, HR professionals, and recruiters eager to dive deep into the art of building a compelling employer brand. Held in collaboration with our sister company, Fairfax, a leading payroll provider, the event was a resounding success, offering valuable discussions, actionable strategies, and a vibrant networking session.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Ross Pitman, GRS Recruitment’s Director of Business and Communications. His opening remarks set the tone for the day, underlining the importance of employer branding in today’s competitive recruitment landscape. “Building a magnetic employer brand is critical for attracting and retaining top talent,” Ross emphasised, highlighting how a well-crafted employer brand can make a lasting impression on potential candidates from the moment they apply.

We were thrilled to have Ron Gilo from Buzz Dealer share his insights on the topic. Together with GRS Recruitment’s leadership team, they presented a range of practical strategies designed to help businesses enhance their employer brand and stand out in an increasingly competitive market.

As the session wrapped up, attendees had the opportunity to network with Ron, his team, and the leadership of GRS Recruitment and Fairfax, sparking conversations and ideas that extended far beyond the room. The event provided a comprehensive roadmap for companies looking to refine their employer brand—from the first interaction with a candidate to the final onboarding process.

Ross left us with a powerful reminder; “Your employer brand is never what you say it is—it’s what your employees and candidates say it is.” Building a magnetic employer brand requires more than marketing messages; it’s about creating real, positive experiences that resonate with people. Ron provided suggested employers should conduct a brand audit, define their employer value proposition, enhance online presence, leverage employee advocacy, improve candidate experience, and measure and adjust.

GRS Recruitment and Buzz Dealer are proud to have hosted this event and look forward to seeing how these insights will shape the future of recruitment and talent retention. Let’s build a workforce that’s not only talented but inspired to grow with your company!
